7/18/2007- The Gah is Champ Again

Just as the beer pong world was getting used to The Gah no longer being champion, here he is again.

“I’m back on top, just like everyone knew I would be.” The Gah said.

Tank and The Gah make their entrances before they start the championship series.

The Gah utilized his rematch clause, earned by having successfully defended his championship twice, and won two out of three games in a best of three series again Tank. The Gah won the first and third games - all close contests.

However, like many contests involving The Gah, there was some controversy. Many viewers pointed out that members of The Gah’s entourage attended the match extremely intoxicated and purposefully distracted Tank with drunken rambling. Some suspect this may have hindered Tank’s performance and been the difference.

“I can’t even tell you how upset I am,” Tank said after the series, “I had finally proven my worth to the World Beer Pong Federation and for me to lose my belt like that, I feel like I got screwed.”

“This is ridiculous,” The Gah responded, “I knew he was finished after I beat him in game 1. He was soft.”

“Then how did he lose in game 2?” Tank replied.

Indeed, the drunken ramblings were at their worst during the decisive game 3, but whether they were a factor or not, the official determined that technically, nothing illegal had occurred.

“There is no honor in the way The Gah plays drinking games,” Tank said, “Unfortunately for him, I’m not going to go away. I’ll be back in that world title hunt before he knows it.”

“No, he won’t.” The Gah taunted.

One can't help but wonder if this animosity will affect their ability to defend the tag team championship together.
