4/3/2007- Gah Gardens to be Demolished, Replaced by New Gah Dome

An era is about to come to an end.

The Gah himself today announced that due to excessive deterioration, Gah Gardens cannot continue to operate much longer.

“I had a contractor come in the other day to assess the cost of renovations for Gah Gardens,” said The Gah, “I was told that to fix the warping, remove the cigarette burns, and add a fresh coat of paint would cost as much as 50 million. Obviously, it makes more sense economically to just build a new arena for myself.”

In its place will rise a brand new arena named Gah Dome.

“The Gah Dome will be a state of the art table with a whole array of modern facilities that just did not and could not exist in the old Gah Gardens. As a result, WBPF superstars and fans will have a new arena to love and I’ll be able to further enhance my ego.”

For the record, this will not be the first time Gah Dome has existed. Gah Dome was originally a prototype for Gah Gardens. Only one photo of it is still in existence, however it is locked away in a vault at WBPF Headquarters. It is not known whether or not the new arena will bear any resemblance to the original, or Gah Gardens for that matter, however, the color green is almost certain to be included.

As exciting as all this seems, it does not sit well with everyone, mainly some of the local townspeople whose taxes will help pay for the new arena.

“My 5-year-old son eats in a cafeteria that has a leaky roof and a rodent infestation and this city is using its funding to build a new beer pong arena, I mean seriously, what the fuck?” said local resident Meghan Jones.

Also, long-time loyal Gah fans are expressing outrage at the proposed personal seat license license to be used for purchasing tickets.

“I really don’t understand what the fuss is over that,” said The Gah, “It’s quite simple, fans can purchase a license for the opportunity to purchase the personal seat license, which then allows them to purchase the tickets. It’s the fairest way to go about this and I’m all about being fair.”

Gah Dome is currently scheduled to open its doors sometime this spring.
