6/14/2007- Schaefer Bowl Added to Champions Page but not Official Championship

The old saying appears to be true, when you’re popular, you can get away with some crazy shit.

Iceman, who committed a horrible act by invading the prestigious Paddle Championship at Intoxicade to hold and win Schaefer Bowl, has had his Championship added to the WBPF Champions page.

“I want to make this very clear,” the commissioner said in a statement, “Schaefer Bowl is NOT an official World Beer Pong Federation championship. It is merely a sort of side show added only for the sake of its current popularity. Once the fad dies out, it will be removed.”

A jubilant Iceman felt different, however.

“The Schaefer Bowl is no fad,” Iceman stated at a press conference, “Schaefer Bowl is not only here to stay forever, but is also the greatest championship in the history of anything, ever.”

The commissioner further elaborated on his decision to give Schaefer Bowl space on the Champions page by saying:

“It's not that I personally really believe it belongs there, but when there are so many fans out there demanding it, what can you do? I mean, look at it this way, every day I have little children coming up to me in their little fur coats and telling me how much they adore Iceman for winning Schaefer Bowl. My hands are completely tied here.”
