9/07/2008 - Louchadore wins World Heavyweight Beer Pong Championship!

At last, there is a new champion.

In the main event of Summer Sloshed, a determined Louchadore finally did what numerous others had failed to do – dethrone The Gah as World Heavyweight Beer Pong Champion.

“This is the greatest night of my life,” exclaimed Louchadore. “I think I’m going to sleep with the belt tonight.”

The match was the most heavily-anticipated contest of 2008 and fans were not disappointed. Fans cheered loud and often as the two superstars competed for the WBPF’s highest prize.

“The noise level was just unbelievable,” noted The Commissioner, who was in attendance for the match, “I couldn’t even here myself drink, and I love the sound of my drinking.”

The match remained even until each superstar had six cups remaining. Then with a timely bring-back, Louchadore gained a two cup advantage that he would never relinquish, winning the contest by a respectable two cups.

“Louchadore was the more consistent shooter tonight and that was the difference,” conceded The Gah. “Let’s see how long he can defend it though.”

It will be interesting to see if what effects this title change has on the landscape of the WBPF. Will Louchadore establish a legacy of his own? Will The Gah remain the face of the Federation?

“As far as I’m concerned, Louchadore is the number one name in drinking games,” stated Louchadore. “Before I joined the WBPF, The Gah and Iceman had long-standing reigns in beer pong and flip cup, respectively, and I ended both of them. I deserve nothing less than widespread fame and lucrative endorsement deals.”

Beer Pong fans can now look forward to watching Louchadore defend his championship against ferocious competition. As impressive as he looked winning the belt, keeping it will be no easier.
